Local intent
Reach the right person in the right market.
This is an editorial map of the decisions discussed in the project account, not a claimed conversion funnel or newly measured result.
- 01
Identify local demand
Clarify the commercial challenge and the people it affects.
- 02
Improve relevant pages
Focus the work on changes that the team can deliver.
- 03
Make enquiries easier
Separate reported progress from qualified enquiries and revenue.
Where the project began
Landlord intent was getting lost in broad property demand
A tenant looking for help, an investor researching London and a landlord choosing a managing agent can all use similar property terms. Only one may be looking to instruct this business.
The audience here was narrower than 'people interested in London property'. A landlord considering a management contract wants to know which responsibilities will be handled, where the service operates and what happens after an enquiry. A generic property article may attract readers while doing little to answer that decision.
The existing commercial pages were underdeveloped, and important City of London and landlord-service searches sat outside the strongest positions. The first job was to bring the intended customer into focus.
What the team worked on
Service pages built around an instruction, not a topic
Instead of chasing broad real-estate phrases, Pearl Lemon concentrated on searches by landlords considering management support. The work reshaped service titles and headings, internal links and technical signals so each important page had a clearer commercial job.
Pearl Lemon mapped transactional searches, revised headings and titles, strengthened service architecture and worked on technical signals and internal links. The approach centred on the service a landlord could actually buy.
What the record shows
196 ranking movements and a clearer commercial focus
Across approximately three months, the historical tracker recorded 196 positive keyword movements. The result establishes ranking progress within that measured set, not 196 new landlord instructions. The next step in judging the business effect would be to trace enquiries from those service pages.

Where I would start on your website
Capture landlord and property-management instructions, not just broad London property information searches.
- 1Split commercial queries for guaranteed rent, full management and letting services from investor education, tenant searches and generic London property topics.
- 2Build one intent-specific page per genuine service with real geographic coverage, fee/engagement expectations and a clear route for landlords to enquire.
- 3Review ranking improvements by position bucket and commercial relevance; do not promote a count of small movements as a lead outcome.
How to measure commercial progress
Track qualified landlord enquiries, portfolios/units discussed and signed management instructions alongside non-brand service-query share.

How to read the results
196 keyword-ranking improvements are movements within a tracking set, not 196 new customers or an independently verified revenue increase.
What better measurement could reveal
An anonymised before/after tracking export with query dates, non-brand Search Console clicks and qualified landlord enquiries would establish the commercial impact.
