    Technical SEO consulting

Technical SEO is where most sites quietly lose. Pages that never get crawled, templates that duplicate themselves, JavaScript that hides content from Google, migrations that drop rankings overnight. I'm Deepak Shukla — I run technical SEO for clients at Pearl Lemon and rebuilt this site's own indexing, sitemaps and server rendering from scratch. If your traffic fell after a redesign or your pages are 'discovered, currently not indexed', that's the work below.

    • Crawl, log file and index coverage analysis, not just a tool export
    • Core Web Vitals, rendering and JavaScript SEO for modern frameworks
    • Migration planning and post-launch recovery

The technical problems that actually cost traffic

In order of how often they matter: pages excluded from the index because of thin or duplicated templates; canonical and redirect chains that split authority; server-rendered content missing for crawlers on JavaScript sites; sitemaps that disagree with canonicals; slow Largest Contentful Paint on mobile; and internal linking so flat that Google cannot tell which page matters. Each of these is measurable before and after, which is how the work gets prioritised.

How a technical audit is delivered

You get a prioritised list, not a 200-page PDF. Every issue carries the URLs affected, the evidence from Search Console or the crawl, the fix, who needs to do it, and the expected effect. Developers get tickets they can act on. Where your team cannot ship the fixes, my team can.

    Migrations and recoveries

Replatforming, domain moves and redesigns are the highest-risk events in SEO. The plan covers URL mapping, redirect testing before launch, parity checks on titles, canonicals and structured data, and daily monitoring for the first month. If you have already lost traffic after a launch, the same process runs in reverse to find what changed.

Technical SEO consulting — frequently asked questions

What does a technical SEO consultant do?
Makes sure search engines can crawl, render, index and understand your site — then makes the important pages fast and clearly signposted. It covers crawl budget, indexation, canonicals, structured data, Core Web Vitals, rendering and internal link architecture.
How much does a technical SEO audit cost?
A full technical audit with a prioritised roadmap starts at £1,500. Implementation support is either hourly at £300 or part of a retainer from £3,000 a month.
My pages say 'crawled — currently not indexed'. Can that be fixed?
Usually yes. It is normally a quality and duplication signal rather than a crawling one: thin templated pages, near-identical content, or pages with no internal links pointing at them. The fix is consolidation, depth and linking, not resubmitting URLs.
