The Running School — Technical and Local SEO

A historical six-month programme for a London biomechanics and coaching business. The Pearl Lemon account records technical and local-search work, the absence of new client blog publishing, and a company-reported third-party Domain Rating movement from 26 to 31.
The challenge
The Running School depended on being discovered for relevant biomechanics and training services, while branded search demand could fluctuate seasonally. The client did not publish the proposed new blog content during the period covered. That constrained the levers available for improving search visibility and makes the case useful for understanding the distinction between an agency's recommendations and what was actually implemented.
The approach
Pearl Lemon's case describes technical adjustments, local search intent, existing service-page refinement and link-related work over approximately six months. Content calendar recommendations were prepared, but the original article expressly says those client blog articles were not published. The work therefore centred on existing pages and technical signals rather than a large volume of new editorial posts. Reporting also considered the variation in branded demand across the period.
The results
Company-reported outcome. The original report includes improved search visibility and a Domain Rating change from 26 to 31 in a third-party tool. Domain Rating is not a Google metric, and its movement is not evidence of new customers. The case does not publish a complete independent Search Console extract or verified additional revenue. See the original Pearl Lemon report and historical video for more detailed interpretation.
