It’s ok to cry Deepak. Contrary to what you think having grown up in a stoic British-Indian family – some of the strongest men you know (and will come to know in your life) cry
- You may be able to fool others; but don’t fool yourself. Always give 110% effort. Don’t settle for someone else’s version of good. You KNOW whether you gave it your all. That is the primary consideration of any kind of ‘achievement; there should be in your life
- Growing up with folks that had an arranged marriage at 11 and 13 will forever distort your view of loving relationships. Get therapy asap or it will cause you much pain (as it already has in my life)
- Greatness is often a matter of perseverance. Most people can’t persevere. So don’t you DARE quit on me soldier.
- Don’t worry that you were bullied in school Deepak. You don’t know how strong you will become. That will build in you resilience through which the seeds of greatness will may be one day sown.
Writing this actually made me kind of sad :p
