  • I’ve been ‘writing’ since I was 14 years old. That’s when I wrote my first short story
  • I’m 29 now. I’m still ‘writing’ and it’s only now I’m getting a TEENY bit of recognition. (1 million+ views per week Quora)
    • I’m still not sure that I’m good at it

Here is what is clear to me:

You’re probably good at a couple things. Mediocre at many things and sh*t at a few things. Just like all of us!

That bears NO RELATION to whether you are ‘destined to become a mediocre person’.

One thing that completely matters though – is your attitude. That will definitely make you become a mediocre person.

So some quick tips:

  • Stick to ONE THING for longer >6 months if you do it daily. >2 years if you do it 2/3x a week. And then review
  • Didn’t work?
    • Try harder
  • Still didn’t work?
    • Try SMARTER

Still not working? Keep seeking outside advice. You’re doing something wrong.

You can get out of this rut faster than you think. It’ll just be more painful than you imagine. But it’s worth it in the end.
